How To Become A Safety Training Ninja

Wednesday, August 31, 2016: 12:30 PM-4:30 PM
Senate (Omni Shoreham)

Level of Course: Mid

Dang, it is hard to be a top-notch safety or HR pro and still find time to deliver great training. Tired of compliance-based lectures, and begging people to come and pay attention? Well stop working so hard and work smarter, be a Safety Training Ninja© who uses the tools like a master and slices through training challenges. Do you find that your training programs resemble more of a brain dump of rules and requirements than of valuable stuff that your team actually learns and uses on the job? Do you open PowerPoint and start cutting and pasting from the regs, internet, or previous presentations. That’s not smarter or better! Learn to laser in on your training needs and skill gaps and train correctly, efficiently and fun(ly) – yeah, we can use that word!

By the end of this program, you will implement new Ninja skills including:

  • List dozens of ways to make training easier and more exciting, yes DOZENS
  • Develop learning objectives that not only meet your companies business needs but that you can actually prove you achieved.
  • Make compliance training actually interesting

How this training program works

Regina is not just any safety trainer she will keep you engaged and excited to learn and more importantly, she will teach you those tricks too. From better training design (read easier) to better delivery to even handling that group of workers who soooo don’t want another safety training class. She has been training and entertaining for over 25 years, and she wants to share how to make your job easier!

This is no all-day lecture, this is a jammed packed day of activities, skills development and delivery examples to launch you forward in your training skills. Heck, if she lectured all day, it would be a pretty boring day – and we are trying to beak that habit!

Who should attend?

If you train on safety, HR, quality or any other topic, you must attend this program. If you are a seasoned trainer you can still pick up great tips and tricks from the program and the other attendees. If you want to begin your journey as a master trainer, this should be on your list. Sure, some of the examples are safety driven but they translate to all types of training, I promise!
