Risk: Why do we take them? is a very interactive presentation that allows participants to look objectively at the concept of hazards, risks and safety in their daily lives and ultimately explores how we each perceive risk, risk judgement, how to categorize hazards and what is our personal risk perception of common activites. This presentation is an excellent introduction to the idea of conducting hazard recognition workshops in their own workplace allowing a meaningfully unique and innovative teaching method to train their own employees. The presentation concludes with each participant scoring their own personal risk perception of twenty different activities thus giving them a final sum of their personal risk tolerance. This multi-media presentation uses a series of video clips, a handout with questions to answer, and activites in order to assure a fun and interactive event for each participant!
