This session will help you identify what are the elements of a corportate waste management programs.  The topics will include: 

Is there a Written Program that provides guidance for those responsible for managing Waste ?

Are there clear defined roles and responsibilities for those involved in the Waste process?

Have you identified the types of Waste that are managed at each facility?

Do staff understand the compliance obligations associate with managing hazardous waste?

How are people’s trained to complete the job tasks (labeling containers, reviewing manifest, etc )?

How is Waste being characterized and is there a review process to support staff?

How are you managing risk and limiting the number of disposal facilities used (TSDF Audit Program)? 

Where do you track Waste data and store documents and how is it accessible for audits?

Many companies still haven’t advanced their Waste programs into the 21 century,  at the completion of this session you will be equipped with the proper elements to develop your own Corporate Waste Managemet Plan to help you meet the regulatory challenges of today.
