Tuesday, September 17, 2013: 8:30 AM-9:30 AM
Bayhill 27 (Peabody Orlando)

Level of Course: Mid

All students have one thing in common...they are people! After that, all similarity ends. At best or worst, they are opinionated, headstrong, passionate, emotional, reclusive, egotistical, apathetic, vain, hostile, cooperative or indifferent. Yet, deep inside most of us – somewhere untouched – is the spark of desire to impart to our fellow humans the knowledge that we have gathered over our lifetime. A few will muster the courage do the undoable: be an instructor! This session will explore characteristics that make a good instructor, then move on to discuss the “Laws of Learning.” These basic rules that apply to all types of learning can be a significant asset to the instructor who knows and understands them.
