 Title: Adversity

First Name:    Matthew                                              Last Name: Redmann

Adversity defined by Webster: a state, condition, or instance of serious or continued difficulty or adverse fortune.   At the time you are going through a tough time you may contend that it is not a great deal.  But when you look back on the tough times in your life do find that you came out either better or worse based on how you responded to a tough challenge? Did a tough time condition you for the next big thing? I contend that adversity offers you an opportunity to:

  •       Toughen up, if everything was easy how can you stretch yourself.
  •       Learn about yourself and something new.
  •       Grow in mind, body and spirit.
  •       Teach others how to be fearless.

My talk will help provide insight learning and an opportunity to discuss how challenges can be met with courage vs dread and worry.
