Title: EHS Toolbox: Salesmanship and the EHS Professional - How to effectively sell yourself, your ideas, and your program requirements to those you serve.

How do you get those that you serve to do what you want? All experienced EHS professionals are familiar with the concept of “management buy-in”. Additionally, most of us know that nice feeling when we have the cooperation and support of those who we work hard each day to protect. But how do you get there? It’s not by mistake; an effective EHS professional has an effective toolbox. One important tool is the art of selling…yes selling! We are sales people. Every day we sell ourselves and our programs. This session teaches basic sales technique from the EHS perspective.

Concepts such as;

  • Establishing Rapport, Product Knowledge, Identifying the Real Decision Makers, Overcoming Objections, Closing the Deal, Maintenance Selling.
