Level of Course: Senior

Internal auditors serve a critical role for all management systems.  The problem is that most internal auditors don't feel prepared or equipped to do so.  The reasons range from poor (or no) training or not understanding the management system requirements to not being comfortable with structuring good audit flows and questions.

This presentation is going to identify the top 10 reasons internal auditors aren't able to succeed and the participants in the class will vote at the start of the presentation on where we will spend our time.  The presentation will focus on identifying key concerns and resolutions.   We will also allow for role play with participants to understand how audit processes can succeed for them.

This will be an interactive course designed for those who have either served as internal auditors in the past, currently serving or who would like to consider this activity in the future.  It is also a helpful course for management who recruit and manage internal auditors to serve their management systems.
