Biographical Sketch: Dr. H. Balakrishna is currently serving Bangalore Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India, as Professor of Civil Engineering. He worked in the field of photogrammetry, remote sensing and Geographic Information System and obtained his Ph.D. in the year 2009. He has over 32 years of teaching experience and has published 34 research papers. His area of research interest include GIS, water resource management and environmental engineering with a special training in green infrastructure management. Presently Dr. Balakrishna is supervising five students for their Ph. D. degree. He is also on the Board of of ACHMM-India Chapter
