Biographical Sketch: Mr. Timothy Stirrup is Partner and Principal Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Professional with Parvati Consulting, LLC., based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tim has over 25 years of experience as an EHS professional including performing and guiding hazards analyses that adhere to the principles in the Redbook  Guidelines for Hazard Evaluation Procedures, 3rd Ed (CCPS 2008). Mr. Stirrup's primary responsibilities and areas of expertise are centered around establishing the framework for clients in Hazard Analysis within a diverse set of industrial facilities including accelerators, semiconductor facilities, R&D laboratories, and dynamic energetic materials testing facilities.
Throughout his career, Mr. Stirrup has provided EHS consulting support to DOD, DOE, commercial, industrial, and private clients. Mr. Stirrup has been an Office Manager for Radian Corporation, Vice President for URS, and a Vice President for Outrider Environmental Planning & Technical Services, as well as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories. Mr. Stirrup was a major contributor to the updated DOE Accelerator Order and Guide. He is an expert in System Safety and the application of Hazard Analysis principles at all levels  from hazards identification to facilitation of hazards evaluations and control derivations. Tim has also performed pre-startup readiness reviews (PSR), readiness assessments, and readiness reviews for complex facilities.
Tim is respected for his ability to create highly functional teams and solve diverse, complex problems. Mr. Stirrup provides direct input to Line/Executive Management and Regulators to ensure solutions for continued organizational success.
Mr. Stirrup is recognized by the National Registry of Environmental Professionals as a Registered Environmental Manager (REM) as well as recognized by both the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) as an Industrial Hygienist. Mr. Stirrup currently serves as President-Elect on the New Mexico Society for Hazardous Materials Managers Board and has led many sessions in the annual Essentials of Hazardous Materials Management Course (CHMM Prep Course) in Albuquerque, NM. Mr. Stirrup is continually asked by clients, peers, and professionals in the EHS community to present at both local and national EHS/IH conferences.
