Biographical Sketch:
Lt. Baker, was the SWAT Team supervisor who was in charge of the tactical response for the “Howard County Mall Shooting” in 2014. He has been with Howard County for 18 years, and held positions in Patrol, the Education and Training Division, the Communications Division, and the Tactical Section. He is currently a Watch Commander on Patrol. Lt. Baker will review what happened behind the scenes from the incident command perspective. He will review what went right and where there were areas for improvement and how this all relates to you and what you should do to prepare and how to interact with response teams in the event of an “active shooter.”
