Biographical Sketch: Laura Hodson currently serves as the Assistant Coordinator of NIOSH�s nanotechnology research center, with oversight of over 50 research projects. She is certified in the practice of industrial hygiene by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene and received a BS in Chemistry and Environmental Studies from Wright State University, and a MSPH in Industrial Hygiene from UNC- Chapel Hill. Laura has conducted site visits to nanomaterial producing facilities to gain a better understanding of the processes, tasks, possible exposures, and controls that are being used; and is the document manger of several of the NIOSH nanotechnology guidance documents.
