Biographical Sketch: Sheila Morris joined Heritage Environmental Services, LLC (Heritage) in July of 1997 as a Field Chemist for the St. Louis, Missouri Service Center. During her time with Heritage St. Louis, Sheila has also held positions as an Account Coordinator and Technical Services Manager. Currently, Sheila is the Area Manager, overseeing the Local Service Center’s Daily Operations, Sales, Safety and On-Site Projects. Sheila’s interests in the environmental Field began as a small child. The grandchild of a farmer, and growing up in the country, Sheila has always been interested in environmental issues and proper environment management. She attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where she received her Bachelors in Geography – Environmental Planning with a minor in Environmental Studies. She was a part of the Geography Club at SIUC. While in college, Sheila interned at a small asbestos consulting firm during the summers where she prepared reports and performed analysis for special projects. Following graduation, Sheila was hired by Heritage and has been working there ever since. Sheila was instrumental in Heritage's response to the Macondo spill in 2010. Sheila has organized, managed and participated in over fifty Hazardous Household Waste Collections since 1997. During her time with Heritage, Sheila has gained a wide range of regulatory, supervisory and industrial experience in the environmental field.
