Biographical Sketch: Heather Earl is Manager, Safety Services for the MAGIC KINGDOMŪ Park at the Walt Disney World Resort where she leads a team of 7 safety professionals who lead the safety program for 12,000 cast members in Attractions, Custodial, Entertainment, Foods, Merchandise, Security, Horticulture, Photography, Costuming, Engineering, as well as Food Safety and Public Health. Heather previously worked for Tyson Foods as Health and Safety Operations Manager where her team of 20 safety, nursing and fleet safety professionals led health and safety programs for facilities in 11 states and Mexico. Facilities included poultry/beef slaughter and further processing, feedmills/feed delivery, hatcheries, truck maintenance, rendering, flour tortilla, canned ham, turkey, proprietary breeding stock operations, and live production/farming.
Heather is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Professional Environmental Health and Safety Auditor (CPEA), Professional American Society of Safety Engineers Member, was honored as the 2006 Arkansas Safety Professional of the Year (SPY), 2010 Central Florida SPY, 2010 Region IV SPY, received the 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 (North American Occupational Safety and Health Week) NAOSH Champion awards. Heather holds a BS in Agricultural Operations Management and an MS in Agriculture, both from the University of Florida.
