Biographical Sketch:
Mr. Wood has more than 26 years' progressive responsibility in environmental programs in industry, consulting and environmental and health and safety (EHS) management systems (MS) implementation, working with leading corporations and government organizations. For AECOM, he currently manages the Electronics Code of Conduct group audit program and the Apparel, Mills & Sundries audit program focusing on Textile Manufacturing, Processing and Embellishing Suppliers. He is also the EMS subject matter expert for the US Navy and has developed a Sustainable Development Guidebook and audit criteria for Wal-Mart. Member of the U. S. TAG to ISO Committee TC 207 involved in developing the ISO 14000 international standards. (1993-1996) and in the update process (2015). Provided EMS technical assistance and program development support to EPA Headquarters. Reviewed the EMS templates and guidance documents for conformance to ISO 14001 and Performance Track requirements for the following trade associations: National Paint and Coatings Association, National Sand and Gravel Association, American Textile Manufacturers Institute, American Furniture Manufacturers Association, Screen Printing and Graphic Imaging Association, Metal Casting Industry, Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturers Association, National Association of Chemical Distributors, and the National Biosolids Partnership.
