How Does The EH&S Professional Fit Into A Green Building Team? Let Us Count The Ways

Green Building teams are not just for architects, engineers and landscape professionals.  The EH&S professionals play a key role for new buildings, retrofits of existing buildings and just “greening up the workplace.“   This presentation is designed to explain the green building basics established by the US Green Building Council [USGBC.]  The USGBC grants certifications to buildings that achieve high levels of energy savings, water savings, material reuse and indoor environmental quality.  The presentation will also explain the numerous opportunities for EH&S professionals to contribute to and participate in the process.
