Implementing a global, integrated Environmental, Health, and Safety Management system formalizes the overall approach and culture associated with management of environmental, health and safety risks around the globe. The prupose of a global EHS management system is to establish a system and process to proactively managing global HSE risk and bring all locations to a similar level of HSE performance.   It is a system to apply a firm foundation at each location to protect human health and the environment, it includes compliance with applicable laws and regulations and global company standards/best practices, and helps an organization drive risk further toward zero.
These presentation will describe how one sector of a large, global company has implemented a grass roots EHS management system, how it was derived and the components that make it successful.
