Effective Permit Required Confined Space Entry Programs

This presentation has been developed to inform each participant of the dangers of confined space work and provide solutions and a hazard control system that can be implemented and performed in order to prevent these fatalities. The presentation will Define a Confined Space and a Permit Confined Space, Identify Confined Space Hazards and Confined Space Hazard Control Strategies, and Describe the Permitted Confined Space Program, including the Permit System, Each of the Roles Involved in the Permit Confined Space System, and the Training Requirements of the Permit Required Confined Space System. It is my hope that throught the use of lecture, discussion, power point presentation, and real-life experiences, that each participant will be better equipped to deal with permitt required confined space work when presented with this challenge in the work place.

At the conclusion of this presentation, attendees will be able to:

a)     Define a Confined Space and a Permit Confined Space 

b)     Identify Confined Space Hazards and Confined Space Hazard Control Strategies 

c)     Describe the Permitted Confined Space Program, including the Permit System, Each of the Roles Involved in the Permit Confined Space System, and the Training Requirements of the Permit Required Confined Space System
