Good technical writing skills advance careers, keep managers and clients happy, and reduce professional liabilities.  These skills require good thought organization, information presentation structure, grammar, phraseology, word selection and usage, and spelling.  This presentation will provide many examples of the common technical writing mistakes observed during the author’s decades reviewing most of the types of documents for which hazardous materials professionals often have responsibility.  Most importantly, the best repair options and good reference sources for more information and learning also will be discussed.
