Biographical Sketch: James T. Price is a partner and chair of the Environmental Law Practice Group of Spencer Fane Britt & Browne LLP. His office is in Kansas City, Missouri.
Jim's practice concentrates on environmental law, regulation, litigation, and business transaction solutions involving environmental issues. Jim has served as lead counsel for numerous environmental law matters, including environmental lawsuits, Superfund proceedings, environmental transactions, and environmental permitting and enforcement involving a wide range of environmental media.
Jim has served in a variety of leadership roles in environmental law within the American Bar Association. He has served for many years as a member of Kansas City's Brownfields Commission, which hears and decides on brownfields redevelopment matters in Kansas City.
Jim is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been named one of the Super Lawyers and Best of the Bar in Kansas City. Jim received his bachelor's degree in 1977 from the University of Missouri and his law degree in 1980 with honors from Harvard Law School.
